The causes can be different:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>old age;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stress (physical and mental);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Malnutrition or undernutrition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lack of sleep and sleep disorders<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sedentary lifestyle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smoking and alcohol;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing infections and inflammations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blood cancer and immunodeficiency;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chronic diseases (diabetes, HIV\/AIDS etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Autoimmune diseases (inflammatory rheumatism);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defense suppressing drugs (immunosuppressants);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemotherapy and radiotherapy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some diseases also result from a dysfunction in the immune system.
